Both Soy polysaccharide and Glucuronolactone which are used widely in fields of food and health are a functional carbohydrate, and then, there are some further research done for the preparation methods and application processes.Soy polysaccharide is one functional oligosaccharide which has a series of health-giving physiological functions, such as emulsifying property, anti-sticking activity, film-forming ability, etc. Due the soy polysaccharide produced by our country is too brown to utilize the soy polysaccharide widely, so an appropriate decolorizing process based on the properties of Soy polysaccharide and screening of high efficiency medium should be needed. Then, fluidized bed with activated carbon was adopted in this experiment. The outcome showed that the decolorizing efficiency reached 63.80% by the fluidized bed method at the conditions of velocitv 6.69 cm·min-1~8.48cm·min-1 in 30min. The results indicated that the fluidized bed with activated carbon was applicable for the decoloration. Then, lecithin microcapsule, lutein microcapsule, and lycopene microcapsule were prepared successfully using the water-soluble soy polysaccharide as main materials, extending the application range of water-soluble soy polysaccharide.Glucuronolactone, an excellent medicine to protect liver, is produced mainly by chemical method, which produced a lot of the waste liquid and damaged the environment. In this paper, on one hand, the experiments to separate the effective components were investigated; on another hand an attempt to construct saccharomyces cerevisiaes containing hasB gene was carried out in order to produce Glucuronolactone by biological process. All of these attempts will be the optional resource for the further research.
