Compared with a normal pipeline internal detector, a magnetic-flux triaxial leakage PIG can detect flaws in three-dimensional scale, whose results are with high resolution, making its wide use both at home and abroad. However, the equipment employs high and very difficult techniques that are kept unknown from abroad, thus, it is necessary to make research on the equipment and its corresponding techniques. Due to a large number of sensors, huge quantities of data need to be collected during the sampling interval, which requires that the master system in the sampling part of the PIG should be with fast transmission.In order to meet the requirements of data transmission, a scheme for the hardware in the master system is designed, which consists of PC104plus CPU, PCI interface chip PCI9054, MCU and SSD. In detail, PCI9054, whose port is connected to PC104plus CPU, can provide a DMA data transmission channel and data can be received at its local port. PC104plus CPU, as the core, can accomplish data transmission and make it stored in SSD. MCU, connected to PC104plus CPU with serial port, is mainly to detect electric quantity.Based on the hardware structure of the master system, the corresponding software system is designed. The software works in the PC104plus CPU to assist the PIG to accomplish the work in the mode of debugging and acquisition. Among the debugging, layered arrangement used in serial communication is designed. And among the acquisition, operation of PCI9054 is programmed to make data transferred. It makes sure of the data fast transmission.Finally, experiments related to the master system are carried out and the rate of data transmittal is done with quantitative analysis, for details, the least speed is 24.51 MB/s, much faster than the design index -6.7 MB/s. The experimental results show that the master system designed can meet the design requirements and the scheme is practical.
