The main function of ground high-speed data transmission system is to controlacquisition storage device into the specified state and to transmit long-distance equipmentdata back in real-time reliably.According to the requirements of the spacecraft task, usingPXI moduel as a master device,the design of long transmission combined with the LVDSbus and the advantage of optical fiber transmission is realized after the research and analysisof the transmission reliability.This paper introduces the overall structure of the transmission system firstly, thenelaborates the system hardware design of each function module in detail. The physical datatransmission includes two parts of the LVDS combined with optical fiber transmission andtwisted-pair transmission. In order to guarantee the stability and reliability of transmissionunder the maximum rate,the design chooses a proper coupling means to apply to differentlevel interconnection considering the need of actual data transmission and tests the cablenetwork attenuation and distortion of hundred-meters long transmission to contrast with thetheoretical calculation.At the same time, by using PCI9054as a "bridge" chip to achievedata transmission between FPGA and PCI interface with the new bus access method ofcombining single cycles with burst mode,the design cycle can be shortened and designefficiency can be improved.To ensure the transmission link reliability,the paper analyzes thephysical-link layer,puts forward key points and describes FPGA internal logic controldesign on data-link layer.Finally, the paper simulates and debugs PCI communication module of PCI card,andlists possible causes leading to system-boot failure. Combined with cquisition storagedevice, the cable network attenuation and distortion of hundred-meters long transmission is tesed and the collected data is analysed and processed by the software.Test results confirmesthe reliability of the system hardware circuit and the physical data transmission.
