This paper introduced the domestic development process and present applicationstatus about pressed steel plate, pointed out the defects existing in use, and introducedthe material, model, basic structure, characteristics and application about it. It providesa basis for choose plate in specific project.The typhoon and strong wind are the main reasons for causing serious damage tothe thin-walled steel light building envelop enclosure. The design of Zhanjiang steelplant planning project for example, through the calculation of wind, sectionalcharacteristic, continuous span purlin spacing of the roof board Angle-III-600type andwall panel V-125type, analyses and explains the selection and application about thepressed steel plate in high wind pressure condition, and put forward a more economicalpractical new board type named Angle-III-630type. And in order to avoid damage toinstalled roof and wall panels for instantaneous strong wind pressure, etc. various kindsof factors, the author made necessary design in leakage control and reinforcement.The paper also introduced two construction methods using elevated platform andcrane to install roof board in high wind pressure condition. This paper made beneficialexploration to pressed steel plate used in large industrial plants in the high windpressure condition, it has certain practical value to design and construction.
