Haiyunan is not only a key cultural relic’s protection unit in Qingdao, but also theonly one to carry out religious activities Taoist Temple in Qingdao. Haiyunan sugar Ballwhich held in Haiyunan has become a well-known brand event and one of the large folktemple fairs. With the game of the protection and development, how to use the culturalgene to developed Qingdao’s urban space, urban structure optimization, is become theimportant issues.This thesis use the neighborhood of Qingdao Haiyunan Nunnery folk culture as theobject of study, using qualitative and quantitative analysis and integration of urbaneconomics, history, geography, architecture and related disciplines such as the core ofinterdisciplinary research. And then collated and summarized the history of Haiyunanon the basis of the theory and results of the protection of cultural neighborhoodexperience. Finally, proposed Haiyunan protection and renewal of the measures, whichincluded functional integration, the spatial structure reconstruction and Special research.This thesis provides a scientific basis for the protection and development of folk culturestreet in Qingdao Haiyunan.The thesis has three parts:Part I: Collate and summarize the protection theory and methods of the domestichistory of folk and cultural blocks, which provide a theoretical basis for the folk cultureof Haiyunan update.Part II: Determined the value of Haiyunan in three aspects of history, culture andsociety, and then analyzes the current problems of the Haiyunan, which provided a basicresearch for update.Part III: Through theoretical analysis and value argument, proposed Haiyunanprotection and renewal of the measures.
