Then in the house the degree of decorationand luxury become more and more high, and the furniture become increasingly rich.With The inflammable goods increasing, the fire load density becomes high also. Andthen, the residential fire risk continues to rise. All of these lead to the residential fireseriously threatens the safety of residents and their property.In China, Hydrant system is the main fire fighting facility in the residentialbuildings, however, the number of residential fire is still high and the fire still seriouslycause casualties and property losses. When the fire breaks out in the residentialbuildings, most of the residents cannot use the hydrant efficiently.Along with the advent of the aging of population in our country，and thecharacteristics of population structure, in the normal time the main family members arethe aged and juveniles. Because of their own characteristics and without specifictraining，those people cannot use the hydrant efficiently to extinguish and escape. Andthe effect of the hydrant for controlling the incipient fire is much low.The main characteristics automatic sprinkler system is detecting the fireautomatically and dropping water on the flames timely. And it has the function ofautomatic alarm, and it can be operated automatically when people are sleeping.Thesprinkler system has high efficiency in extinguishing the fire, and it should have becomethe main fire-extinguishing installation in the residential buildingsThe critical problems of the installation of the sprinklers in the common residentialbuildings will be studied in this paper.
