Urban water network system is one of the most important basic establishments inthe mountain city. Urban water network system is one of the most important basicestablishments in the mountain city. In recent years, the construction of the mountaincity in China had been accelerating, the water utilities had been developing rapidly too.As the complex terrain and scattered population of the mountain city, the developmentof its water supply network has been limited. Therefore, studying how to improve thereliability of water supply network of the mountain city, and playing its economic roleand social role, what has become an important topic of the water supply system.From the basic theory of the reliability research, reliability analysis and study ofthe urban water network has been carried out in this study, and the main work andconclusions are as follows:①Hydraulic calculation principle of the linear theory method has been studied,and has made improvements. During the hydraulic analysis, the nodes flow changingwith the nodes pressure were considered, the nodes pressure and practical waterdelivery in the running operation was resolved, and these can provide a basis foranalyzing the pipe network reliability of subsequent pipe network②The necessity for the district water supply mode on the water supply in themountain city is analyzed and researched. At the same time, based on reliability theory,the paper analyzes the district water supply system. The design points that theconnectivity pipes and emergency valves, which were set between the partition pipenetworks, can effectively improve the reliability of water supply, was put forward.③Use the principles such as the minimal path sets method, the structuralreliability assessment model for water distribution network was set up, it was used toanalyze the impact of the pipe network structure to the pipe network reliability.④Meeting to the demand for water consumption of the nodes is put forward asreliability index, the reliability assessment model of the distribution pipe nodes and pipesystem has been established by probability theory and hydraulic analysis. At the sametime, in the case of the water flow of the mountain city changes, the reliability of thenodes of the pipe network and system hydraulic has been assessed. Combined withpractical examples, the impact of the mountain city water flow seasonal changes on thereliability of the pipe network has been analyzed quantitatively, and a series of measures to improve the reliability of the pipe network was put forward.
