The traditional air-conditioner system is always criticized because of its highenergy consumption, overheating in inner zone, cross infection, and so on. Theexisting problems are analyzed first in the thesis, and a new central air conditioningsystem combining heat pipe and vapor compression based on energy-bus is putforward. Compared to the traditional system, the new system performs better inenergy conservation, indoor environment control, prevention of cross infection. It is anew central air conditioning system solution for public buildings and industrialbuildings. The main work of the thesis is detailed below:(1) Analyze the shortcomings of the traditional air conditioning system, and thereason of the traditional system’s high energy consumption. Base on the exitingproblems, a new central air conditioning system combining heat pipe and vaporcompression based on energy-bus, meeting the needs of the future buildings‘developing is proposed;(2) Develope the key equipments of the new system, i.e., water-cooled airconditioners combined with heat pipe and fresh air handing unit with large enthalpydifference. Primary products development of the key equipments is finished, and thetest, results analysis is processed. The results show that, the two primary productsreach the requirements of design, which turns out that the new system is realizable.(3) Discuss the design method of the new system. The air handling process indifferent buildings, cooling water system design method, solutions of heating andcooling resource design are analyzed. And the dehumidifying of the water-cooled airconditioners combined with heat pipe, the differences of the water system betweenthe new system and the old system is discussed. Some new design methods andconclusions are proposed, which could be a reference in the real project.(4) The conservation potential of the new system is analyzed and discussed. Theannual energy use model of all-air conditioner system, fan-coil unit plus fresh airsystem, and the new system is built. Based on the different cities’ climate data, theannual energy use of three systems in6cities is simulated. From the comparison of the new system and the other two systems, we can get the conclusion: the new systemperforms better in energy conservation of chillers, heat and cold distribution and heatrecovery.The main work of the thesis is of great importance to building the new centralair-conditioner system and development of the key equipments, which is alsoimportant to the energy conservation of central air conditioning system.
