Steel frame-prestressed structural system is used prestressed cable as resistimglateral force component, and layout frame beams and frame columns which as themain bearing component in horizontal and vertical. This structural form uses thestrength of steel effectively and reduce the weight of structure, at the same timereduce the number of complex nodes which consist in traditional slant supports resistlateral force frame structure. The research has high value of engineering. This paper reviewed the current situation of lateral resistant system, highperformance steel and prestressed steel structure, and summarizes the deficiency andproblems. the focus of the paper is the the static and dynamic performance of the steelframe-prestressed structural system.Aiming at the single hinged steel framework which consist Q345、Q460andQ690three kinds of steel strength, in this paper, the modal analysis is under thedifferent steel strength, the different types of arrangement for prestressed cables andthe different degree of prestress. The results of the study show that the first three ordernatural vibration period of the steel frame-prestressed structure are reduced whichunder different types of arrangement for prestressed cables and the different degree ofprestress, and the structure formations are changed also.According to the standard method, the wind load of the single hinged steel framebearing is simplified as joint load, the joint load is applied to the lateral node of thestructure.Comparingthe change of sidesway and Layers lateral under the three factorsof steel strength, different types of arrangement for prestressed cables and degree ofprestress, the analysis results show that the steel frame-prestressed structure of threekind steel strength under the change of the different types of arrangement forprestressed cables and the different degree of prestress, the node lateral and the layerslateral of the structure show the same rule. When the structure prestressing adopt thefirst types of arrangement for prestressed cables, the node lateral and the layers lateralof the structure are changed greatly; When the structure prestressing adopt the secondtypes of arrangement for prestressed cables, the node lateral and the layers lateral ofthe structure are changed little.Selecting EI-centro wave,The structure were studied by nonlinear time history analysis.Compared the displacement and the internal force of the steel frame-prestressed structure of the response under the three factors of steel strength, arrangement for prestressed cables and degree of prestress. As analysis shows, theaxial force of columns increased significantly because of prestressing; The bendingmoment of frame beams was decreasing with the increase of prestress, the axial forceof frame beams increase significantly under the firsttendon disposition, the beamsbecome bending and compressing components; the axial force of frame beams fromcompress become tension, the beams become bending and tension components.Thenode lateral peak of steel frame-prestressed structure reduce significantly under theeffects of earthquake. The node lateral peak has increased with prestressed increasingat the first types of arrangement for prestressed cables; The node lateral peak change alittle with prestressed increasing at the second types of arrangement for prestressedcables. The vertex lateral schedule curve of steel frame-prestressed structure haschanged greatly, the vertex lateral of structure decay faster when prestressing, and thestructure vertex lateral response occurs mainly in the first6seconds. The researchresults will provides important reference value for the steel frame-prestressedstructure.
