In the “Twelfth five years”, the country put forward to solve the security problem ofdrinking water,continue to implement "the rural drinking water safety engineering".Theexperimental research aim at bad treatment rural areas of the groundwater containing ironand manganese, research and develope removal iron and manganese device in groundwater.The experiment adopt biological removal iron and manganese process, research the maindesign parameters of device, and training of biological filter layer. Experiment also examinesoverall purification efficiency of cultivated mature biological filter layer and device.1)Through the test experiments, filter column conclusion:(1) Microbial inoculation is the key process in the whole experiment, inoculatedbacteria mud contain lots of bacteria that involved in manganese removal. By themicroorganism training mode that combin with one-time Inoculating artificially highconcentrations of bacteria mud and natural training, for50days of carefully the raise, out ofthe water Fe2+, Mn2+concentration up to the standard, and keep stable.(2) In the microorganism training process, filtration rate and Reverse wash strength arethe the main factors influencing. In the early microorganism training, filter speed should becontrolled below3m3/h,for microbial growth, meanwhile extend the filter material adsorptionsaturated time.(3) In the early of the biological removal iron and manganese device opreted, microbialrole is limited. Choose the right filter madia to protect the outlet water quality in themicroorganism training phase is very important. Manganese sand as biological filter layerfilter material,not only has the larger adsorption capacity, at the same time manganese sandcontain ingredients manganese dioxide has the very good stimulative effect on iron, provideguarantee for effluent quality in the early operation.(4) In raw water,the concentration of iron is1.85.5mg/L, the concentration ofmanganese is0.32.3mg/L, biological filter layer iron and manganese removal rate is99.3%and97.7%respectively.2)Through the plant experiment research of biological removal iron and manganesedevice, come to the following conclusion:(1) In the condition of iron concentration of0.96~5.56mg/L, manganese concentrationof0.872.38mg/L in raw water, dissolved oxygen24mg/L, pH value neutral,the averageremoval rate of iron reached97.6%, the average of manganese removal rate reached90.9%, the outlet concentration of Fe and Mn are keep in0.1mg/Lbelow.(2) The requirement of biological removal iron and manganese process to for thedissolved oxygen is different from traditional chemical and physical oxidation. Biologicalfilter layer can achieve efficient removal efficiency in lower dissolved oxygen.By mean ofperforated pipe aeration is able to satisfy microbe demand for oxygen, at the same time saveenergy losses the special aeration result in, has certain economic benefits and social benefit.(3) The mature and operated steady biological filter layer after long timt carefullytraining has a certain capacity resistance to impact load.After reverse wash1hour, filter layerrecovered manganese removal ability, ensure the normal effluent water.(4) The ecological system in the biological filter layer, the bacteria adhere to the filtermaterial surface maintained the basic amount and population advantage of Iron andmanganese oxide bacteria, guarantee the bacteria growth and reproduction and ecologicalsystem stability(5) In the iron mud of filter material clearance embedding a mass of free bacteria, thesebacteria plays a great role for iron and manganese removal. Filter layer treat iron andmanganese via biofilm fixed in the filter material surface and free bacteria embedded in ironmud.3) through the device development of biological treatment iron and manganesegroundwater, the conclusion is:(1) Confirm the design filter speed of iron and manganese groundwater biologicaltreatment device is6~8m/h,and develop series equipment rate of flow from120m3/d1200m3/d on these grounds, the products through the JiangXi province key new product planproject appraisal, achievements and meet the domestic leading level.(2) The process of biological treatment device for iron and manganese groundwater isshortened, covers an area only50%of the device for traditional iron and manganese removal,tons of water power consumption is0.18kWh, tons of water operation cost is0.45yuan, save26%than traditional device iron and manganese removal...
