Remote collaborative hybrid testing is a new type of seismic test method, it canlink laboratory test equipment which distributed in different places to establish remotecollaborative test system based on network technology, and it can carry out hybrid test-ing of large size or complex architecture structures. This method is the hot topic in thefield of international Civil Engineering test, and a number of institutions in china andabroad has carried out some basic researches on it.Based on MTS electro-hydraulic servo control system and OpenFresco networktest platform, the basic theory of hybrid testing and its application in frame structure isresearched using the OpenSees finite element analysis software, the main contents areas follows:(1) The basic theory and the system of the remote collaborative hybrid testing areintroduced, the numerical integral algorithms and load control method of hybrid testingare discussed, and the connection between OpenFresco with the different finite elementand the connection between OpenFresco with the application programming interface ofMTS electro-hydraulic servo control system are elaborated.(2) In order to carry out a remote control hybrid testing in system LAN, a singlespan two-story steel frame structure was designed, the testing results show that linear ornon-linear definition of numerical substructure has a great effect on test results duringlarger seismic; by contrasting the output results of experimental elements which repre-sent the experimental substructure and corresponding measured results of the measure-ment points, verifying the feasibility of the remote control hybrid test in the systemLAN. (3) Describe the model and parameters selection of remote collaborative hybrid testin OpenSees Navigator, give a discussion of analog and conversion of the boundarycondition of the test substructure when loading, and give a detail description of the es-tablishment of the network of remote test system.(4) Based on a partial two-story three-span steel frame structure, a remote collabo-rative hybrid testing was carried out in domestic internet under the cooperation ofXUAT and Xin Jiang university, the test results show that OpenFresco has a goodcommunication in the domestic internet, and the data transmission accounts for a smallproportion of the entire test time; by analyzing the force, displacement, acceleration andother parameters of the specimen, verifying the feasibility and applicability of the testsystem, then giving a analysis of causes of errors, and proposed solutions.
