With rapid development of the power electronics, the application of ICPTtechnology make the wireless electric power transmission realized which had changedthe condition that power could only transmitted by guide line. Now, many researchteams, enterprises step into the area to make a research and application of ICPTtechnology at home and abroad. In addition, more researches have been made home andabroad in these areas such as Electrical energy transform and compensation, Loosecoupling transformer and structure design, main circuit control strategy, frequencystability, Resonant circuit topology and outputted voltage stability. With the stricterrequirements for power quality, more attention is paid to the pollution of powerHarmonic wave, so power factor correction technology is certainly becoming a hotresearch topic. However, few researches were made in ICPT system in this respect.This paper emphasis on two common ICPT system power factor correctiontechnology of Topological structure to make the explosive research. At first, the paperintroduce the current condition of ICPT system and power factor correction technologyhome and abroad, the subject purpose and main contents.Secondly, the paper introduces the structure and working principles of two types ofICPT system: Rectifier-inverter type and based on energy-inserted. Based on theanalysis of definition of power factor, a general mathematical model of power factorand The simulation module of measuring power factor under MATLAB simulationsoftware are made to achieve a detail analysis to power factor of ICPT system whichwill not only realize the measurement and analysis to power factor, but also help to theapplication in other Power electronics devices.The research for Power factor correction technology of Rectifier-inverter typeICPT system is the key point in this paper. According to analysis to the basic structureand control theory of power factor corrector and combined with the demand that theRectifier-inverter ICPT system need to reduce voltage, the BUCK power factorcorrector based on DCM voltage follower come into being. Furthermore, by choosingand designing of system main circuit and steering circuit parameter after adding thepower factor correction circuit, finally, a simulation result is achieved using SIMULINKplatform by making simulation module. A related research about power factor correction technology of energy-insertedICPT system is introduced in the rest pages of paper. At first, the paper tell that theexistence of large amount higher harmonics is the reason for low power factor of energyinjection type ICPT system. Then according to the analysis to Active electric powerfilter and Passive electric power filter, a scheme using LC filter in ICPT system is putforward., finally, a simulation result is achieved using SIMULINK platform by makingsimulation module.
