Energy saving and environment protection have become a direction of economicdevelopment of all countries in the world. As one of the high efficient and energy-saving products, water source heat pump has gained increasing attention in our country.The surface-water source heat pump system has been widely applied because of richsurface water in the south region of China. However, there are still some problems inthe surface-water source heat pump design and operation, especially the transmissionand distribution system energy is too large, which results in lower energy-saving watersource heat pump system, even not energy-saving. According to energy problems of thewater source heat pump transmission and distribution system, this study gives themethods to lower the energy consumption of transmission and distribution system.In this paper, the domestic and overseas research progress of water source heatpump is reviewed, thus the advantage, disadvantage and utilizing limitation of this airconditioning type is summarized and analyzed. And operating principle andclassification of water source heat pump system as well as the performance forms andtransmission and distribution system structure of water source heat pump are presented.Effectiveiy heat transfer problem in refrigeration heat exchanger of water sourceheat pump under the condition of variable flow operation for both refrigerant andsecond refrigerant is studied.The relationship between thermal resistance ratio ΞΆ(theratio of thermal resistance between two sides of the tube wall) and load rate, accordingto heat transfer theory, is derived from simplifying the heat transfer model of heatexchanger. Considering the different running time of heat exchanger under variable load,the operation heat is proposed. Then the range of thermal resistance ratio for evaporatorand condenser is determined and the law of thermal resistance is validated by analyzingthe example. As a result, the relationship between rib effect coefficient and the thermalresistance ratio is established. Furthermore, value analysis of rib effect coefficient iscarried out. for considering and not considering fouling resistance to water side, therelationships between water side rib effect coefficient and refrigerant side rib effectcoefficient are obtained.. On the basis of previous studies, this paper develops pipe system energyconservation model application software of water source heat pump by MATLAB,calculates and analyses the experimental system of comprehensive energy-saving technology of the surface-water source heat pump. Primary pump water system for bothWater side and customer side is calculated, the optimal operation mode is given. afteranalysis, energy consumption under the optional control is30%less than that under theconstant flow at the load rate of0.4. With the increase of load rate, the differencebetween them decreased gradually, reducing to10%at the load rate of1.0. it is can beseen that the optional control has very good energy saving effect.Meanwhile, the secondpump water system for both water side and customer side is calculated, by comparison,it is found that the energy saving effect of primary pump water system is better than thesecond pump water system under the optional control.Lastly, The computational methods for operation energy consumption ofair-conditioning system is summarized, and a computational method for operationenergy consumption of water source heat pump system is presented, which has somereference value for all practical purpose.
