| In order to realize the win-win situation between creating comfortable indoorthermal environment and reducing building energy consumption, nature ventilation isused as much as possible, while air conditioning systems are set up. Nowadays, thereare a large number of mixed-mode buildings, which are between air-conditionedbuildings and free-running buildings. Mixed-mode office buildings in Beijing will bestudied in the thesis in order to answer the following two questions:“How to evaluateindoor thermal environment of mixed-mode buildings?†and “how to apply passivebuilding technologies to mixed-mode office buildings on condition of keeping indoorthermal environment being comfortable?â€Firstly, thermal comfort adaptive of mixed-mode buildings is discussed, which hasnot been considered in the current standards. By integrating, analyzing related researchresults, it shows that people in mixed-mode buildings have due adaptability to indoorthermal environment. According to Evaluation Standard for indoor thermal environmentin civil buildings, air conditioning temperature setting scheme of mixed-mode officebuildings in Beijing is determined.EnergyPlus, which is a popular kind of energy simulaition software, is chosen tostudy how to apply passive building technologies in mixed-mode office buildings. Atfirst, One Sample K-S Test method and Paired-Samples T Test method are used toanalysis the difference between testing energy consumption and simulation energyconsumption to verify the accuracy of EnergyPlus. Besides, approaches of lighting andnature ventilation are improved. Secondly, energy consumption and indoor thermalenvironment of an office building in the three conditions of air-conditioned buildings,free-running and mixed-mode are contrasted. The results show that mixed-mode is thebest building running mode.In orde to form passive technology application strategy, two common types ofoffice building models in Beijing are set up, one is multistory office benchmarkbuildings, the other is high-rise office benchmark buildings. Then, make use ofsensitivity analysis method to study the relationship between building energyconsumption and orientation, shape coefficient, external wall heat transfer coefficient, area ratio of window to wall, shading coefficient and nature ventilation, while keepingindoor thermal environment being comfortable. At last, an energy-saving demonstration project named Future House is chosen toevaluate the applicaton effect of the passive technology application strategy bychanging building running mode, ratio of window to wall, shading coefficient andexternal wall heat transfer coefficient. |
