The urine test is one of three big clinical routine inspections, collecting specimen isconvenient, the change of urine components depth reflects the objective material such asthe urogenital system and other body metabolism, the state of organs and pathologicalchanges. However, the commonly used biochemical methods of urine analysis, consumelarge amounts of reagents, and have other shortcomings that are time-consuming,polluting, destructive samples and expensive. The purpose of this paper is using thenear-infrared analytical techniques which are active in the field of analytical chemistrycurrently to construct a kind of green urine near-infrared test analysis system withcharacters of fast, no reagents, no damage.Based on presenting Principles and Applications of several urine examinationmethods briefly, the paper describes the feasibility that quantitative analysis basictheories such as the near-infrared technology principle and physical chemistryfoundation are applied to the urine component analysis, using the near-infraredtransmission technology, exploring the develop of the urine analysis instrumentsystem’s hardware and software. For the hardware system, it realizes the overallstructural design of the entire optical system, electrical systems and mechanical systemsand the functional modules. While based on the Visual C++6.0development platform,the software system makes use of the software technology and virtual instrumenttechnology to build the system for the urine near-infrared detection analyzer, andachieving the test data display, analysis, printing, storage and other virtual instrumentseach function modules.In this study, a designed system prototype is tested to verify the performance of thesystem, in preparation for realizing the next perfect fast quantitative analysis model.For the flexibility of the near-infrared analysis test’s conditions and the richinformation contained in the result of test, this system research is still needed to do a lotto optimize the analysis model, to achieve the accuracy of clinical practical instruments,therefore this paper summarizes the work and prospects in the end.
