Research Of Urban Design Based On Ecological View In Mountainous Cities

The21stCentury is considered as the period during which human beings createunprecedented prosperity along with the severe damages they’ve being leading to. Thecontradictions among city, architecture and environment are becoming acute, which isgoing to be a pressing question about whether or not the human beings could surviveand reproduce which brings unexpected pressure and obstruction to the processing ofdevelopment of cities. With the increasing crisis of the environment and energy,ecological idea becomes the most focused and preceding issues studied in the urbandesign field at home and abroad.The key to the research of sustainable development of urban is how to introducethe ecological view into city planning and design. The aim is to reduce the damage andnegative effect on environment, to economize on resource to the greatest extent, torebuild the biological feeling of comfort on the basis of the combination of environment,biologic and conditions of climate, and to gain more environmental comfort. Thethought of urban design combine with ecological idea is theoretically and practicallymeaningful to the designing of mountainous city. Based on the understandings above,this research trying to discover the developing of the method on the design tomountainous city combining with the ecological thoughts. This research is divided intofive parts below:The first part is the origin of this essay which introduced the background ofresearch, the conditions of the research on this topic at home and abroad, the objectiveand meaning of this research, the object of study and the definition of concept.The second part is an arrangement of basic research which is based on the historyof ecological idea development in China and the West and on the basis of philosophyground of ecological thoughts design of Chinese ancient mountainous city, makesanalysis on the ecological view and practice of the designing and planning of Chinesemountainous city; arrange the development of ecological thoughts and practice of thedesigning and planning of mountainous city abroad aiming at reveal the structure andtrends of the development of ecological thoughts.The third part is the analysis and summary on the internal connection between thedesigning and planning of mountainous city and ecological. Deduce the connectionbetween the factor of mountainous city designing and the factor of the ecology by analyzing the concepts of mountain, mountainous city, mountainous city designing,environment and ecology. This part offers grounds of the methods of designingmountainous city that mentioned below.The forth part is the frame of theory. Firstly, it analyzes the issues of problems onmountainous city design at present. Secondly, it put forward the basic thoughts, aimingstructure and designing principle of mountainous city designing, which is placed as theoutline and guide of the theory that is researched in this essay.The fifth part is the core of this essay. Under the guide of the theory outline,research in the connection of mountainous city designing factor and ecological factor,refer to the related case and deduce the strategy and methods of mountainous citydesigning based on the ecology from the aspects of blending, coexistence, influence andsymbiosis.
