During the past decades, with the swift development of control theory、digital signal processing、power electronic technology and microelectronic technology, permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM) has become the broadest prospect electrical machine by its high performance, simple structure, reliable movement and good dynamic and static characteristics. However, the precise position control actually turns to be a complex question as the result of its nonlinear coupling of speed and current and misalignment torque equation. Therefore, the realization of high performance control of PMSM has vital significance. Under this kind of background, back-stepping technique, and finite-time control system receive wide attention of their robustness and anti-disturbance performance. This thesis studies the finite-time tracking problem of PMSM. First of all, the thesis lists the finite-time control methods, summarizes the research results of domestic and international finite-time control technology in respect of permanent magnet synchronous motor, as well as speed and disturbance observer, analyzes the mathematical model of PMSM. Selects the rotor field-oriented vector control method based on id=0, establishes the implement plan of double-loop vector control system.Based on the stability of Lyapunov criterion and the back-stepping technique as well as finite-time stability criterion, the thesis introduces the mathematical model of permanent magnet synchronous motor, designs the finite-time controllers Ud,Uq, guarantees the signals of closed-loop system bounded and the global finite time stability of equilibrium point. As a result, the system tracks the reference signal precisely. Moreover, designs speed and disturbance observers based on finite-time technique, and the observed value is equivalently feed back to the input. In the MATLAB/SIMULINK, the thesis establishes a simulation model of permanent magnet synchronous motor vector control system. According to simulation results of comparing finite-time stable system with asymptotically stable system, finite time control method has faster convergence, better robustness and anti-disturbance, which greatly improves the PMSM vector control system of performance.
