In many engineering, retaining wall plays the role of safe protection, the safety of the retaining wall is closely related to the whole project, once destruction, the result will be very serious. Because retaining wall reclining on the slight slope has good material properties, it is widely applied in the project. But now, the design instructions and examples for retaining wall reclining on the slight slope are less, and researches on the soil pressure of the retaining wall are not reasonable which could easily cause the problem in cracking and instability of retaining walls. In this paper, in view of above-mentioned problems, further research and discussion have been done on earth pressure, wall body stress stability calculation, and other key issues of retaining wall reclining on the slight slope.According to earth pressure calculation and the stability calculation of the retaining wall,0+220section of the Stone Bridge Reinforcement Project is selected as calculation model, the paper uses the finite element analysis software ABAQUS to analyze stress and stability condition of the retaining wall reclining on the slight slope. The main research contents are as follows:1) To gather a large number of material on earth pressure of retaining wall, and summarize the characteristics of various earth pressure calculation method, choose a realistic method to check the typical sections of0+220which belongs to Stone Bridge Reservoir reinforcement engineering;2) To the typical sections of stone bridge reinforcement engineering, using the finite element analysis method, considering of the friction contact between the wall and soil, to calculate soil pressure and safety coefficient results, and then compared the value of theory with numerical method;3)According to changes the influencing factors such as elastic modulus of fill, equative angle internal friction, embedded depth of foundation, to analysis the changes law of the soil pressure, stability against sliding and overturning safety of the wall while external conditions have been changed.
