At present, the design of cement-soil wall is still based on the traditional gravity retaining wall model, which is based on hydrostatic pressure. However, when the foundation pit is excavated in the area with high groundwater level,it is necessary to make the dewatering of the foundation pit,so that the water head difference exists inside and outside the pit. Therefore, the soil will produce the role of seepage.A large number of foundation pit engineering examples show that the influence of seepage on the distribution of soil and water pressure and the stability of the retaining structure of foundation pit is very significant. However, there are few researches on the characteristics of foundation pit considering seepage. In this paper, the finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the cement-soil wall under the steady seepage, and the influence of seepage on the soil pressure and stability of cement soil wall is preliminarily studied. The main point are as follows:1.On the basis of introducing the finite element control equation and the definite solution conditions of saturated seepage,The variation law of water pressure inside and outside cement wall is analyzed,Compared with the hydrostatic pressure, the necessity of considering the steady seepage is proved from the aspect of water pressure.2.The finite element software ABAQUS is used to simulate the seepage stability of the retaining structure of cement-soil wall,Analysis results show: under the condition of steady seepage, the earth pressure in the cement-soil wall is greater than that in the soil without considering the seepage. But for the water pressure, because of the seepage force, water pressure is less than the hydrostatic pressure in the pit,and the pit water pressure is greater than the hydrostatic pressure. On the basis of this, the influence of seepage on the stability of anti overturning and anti sliding stability of concrete wall is studied. Its results show: the stability of the cement-soil wall under the condition of stable seepage is unfavorable and the design is not safe without considering the seepage.
