Under external magnetic field, the magnetic fluid in magnetic, optical, acoustic and mechanical have shown many features, these special properties have a wide range of applications in the industrial field. These applications, especially the viscosity of the magnetic field is closely related with the magnetic viscosity of the liquid. For this reason, the magnetic fluid magnetoviscous effect has been the focus and emphasis in the study of magnetic fluid. The theory and the mechanism of magnetoviscous is ergent for depth study。This thesis focuses on this target, and completes the following studies:(1) The magnetoviscous effect of magnetic fluid including theoretical and experimental aspects were analyzed, the shortcomings of the study is pointed out, so it is clear that the direction of magnetoviscous effect.(2) To build a bench, We designed the plate rheometer for the study the magnetoviscous effect of magnetic fluid in high and low temperature. The bench of experiment consists of two main parts:first, cone-plate viscometer, second, Constant temperature bath. The constant temperature bath includes HS-4B precision constant temperature bath of Chengdu Instrument Factory and HC430low temperature bath of Chongqing Yinhe Experimental Instrument Co.Ltd..(3) viscosity-temperature effect of the magnetic fluid is studied in high and low temperature (-40℃—80℃), Magnetic fluid is in line with the law while the viscosity decreases with increasing temperature, the magnetic fluid viscosity-temperature curve relationship is similar to the exponential function.(4) It is measured that the magnetic induction of the magnet and the measuring cup with tesla meter, to calculate the magnetic field strength ofineasuring cup location, so as to get the response curve of the magnetoviscous effect, we found that the response curve of the magnetoviscous effect in different temperature is similar to the curve of the magnetoviscous effect at room temperature, that the viscosity of the magnetic fluid increases with the magnetic field strength increasing.(5) The impact of temperature on the magnetoviscous effect is in line with the law that the relative rate of change of the viscosity of magnetic fluid is less than0.5and Aη-H2for weak magnetic fields resulting from quite well for the whole temperature range. (6) The relative rate of change of the viscosity increase with the shear rate increases, The same increase in shear rate, the higher the temperature, the v relative rate of change of the viscosity is greater.(7) Magnetic field of the structure is simulated by Ansys, Distribution of magnetic field lines, magnetic field strength in the gap are obtained. Magnetic field strength in the gap is consistent with the measured values.
