Viscosity is one of the important physical properties of liquid. The viscosity of magnetic fluid, especially under the action of magnetic field, is closely related to the various applications.This paper has analyzed the microscopic mechanism of the Magnetoviscous Effects and the temperature effected viscosity of magnetic fluid. This paper also deeply analyzed the experimental results and theoretical results of Magnetoviscous Effects. Then the shortcomings of the study are pointed out. Based on these, this paper designed and built the experiment table for the study of microscopic mechanism of Magnetoviscous Effects and the temperature effected viscosity of magnetic fluid. The viscosity change of two kinds of magnetic fluids at different temperature was measured, especially the impact of temperature on the viscosity at low temperatures and Magnetoviscous Effects. And this paper also used the microscopic mechanism of magnetic fluid to explain all the phenomena in the viscosity experiment.This paper has completed following studies:1. Design and build the experiment table to study Magnetoviscous Effects of magnetic fluid.2. Do the viscosity-temperature experiment on low temperature for the first time at home and abroad, and get conclusions as below:(1) Viscosity of the magnetic liquid is increased as the reduction of the experimental temperature.(2) When the temperature is above0℃, the viscosity changes more slowly; and when the temperature is below0℃, the viscosity with decreasing temperature gets a sharp rise in viscosity data to an exponential distribution.3. Summarize the viscosity-temperature characteristics of magnetic fluid by measuring the magnetic fluid viscosity values at different temperatures experiments, and analyze the causes of temperature effected viscosity.4. Study the Magnetoviscous Effects of magnetic fluid under high and low temperature conditions as the first time at home and abroad. Get conclusions as below:(1)When external magnetic fluid direction is paralleled with magnetic fluid rotation axis direction, the viscosity of magnetic fluid will be increased.(2) The amount of magnetic fluid viscosity decreases with the increase of changing amount of the magnetic field, and the increasing amount of viscosity is more at low temperature than that at high temperature;(3) Under the external magnetic field, if the magnetic field gets strength greater, the magnetic fluid viscosity will increase more. 5. By measuring the viscosity of experimental magnetic fluid under different magnetic field strengths, sum up the characteristics of the magnetic fluid, and analyze the cause of Magnetoviscous Effects.6. Complete magnetic fluid viscosity under different shear rate experiments, and get conclusion: the magnetic fluid by the role of an external magnetic field, the viscosity value changes under different shear rates have a significant impact.7. Deduced from the experimental results of the magnetic fluid of the internal microstructure of magnetic fluid, and use the chain structure to explain all the phenomena in the viscosity experiments.
