Research On Urbanization And Transfer Interface Design Of Railway Station’s Square

Railway station’s square is an important part of the railway station, and the key node of urban space. However, early railway station’s square has single function,"dirty, disorderly and bad" space environment, and chaotic and crowded traffic, that can’t meet the demands of the development of urbanization and high-speed railway. For this reason, a great many experts and scholars take to research on how newly-built or rebuilt railway station’s square adapt to the demand in our daily lives. For instance, the people study railway station’s square based on city angle, function space combination of railway station’s square, or traffic streamline organization of railway station’s square. Although these researches have made some achievements, these are one-sided and lack of systematic study.Yet, this paper is based on the large and medium railway station’s square as the research object. I investigate and analyze more representative cases at home and abroad by the literature and field, such as Japanese Kyoto railway station’s square, Dutch Groningen railway station’s square, Tianjin railway station square and Beijing south railway station’s square. Through the systematic research on the large railway station’s square with the theory and practice, the thesis discusses the railway station’s square becomes an important joint of urban space. The thesis also expounds the railway station’s square traffic how to transfer and link up, in order to do comfortable, efficient and convenient, then up to the transfer interface integration. As a result, the thesis analyzes in detail the pluralism of layout of railway station’s square. The paper comprehensively summarizes the basic principles of the railway station’s square design, introduces the design of concrete method, and is paid attention to deal with the detailed problem in design.Through the above analysis and discuss, this article guides our people-oriented design, and provides the people of various activities with the good space and place of the railway station’s square. This paper also inspires the design of the modern railway station and the urban public space.
