The Research And Improvement Of Railway Station Square Space's Usage

China's railway is in a rapid period of great development. Operation mode is also gradually transformed from the single one only to massive ways cooperating together under the concept mode. In this case, our country built a large number of integrated transport hub with the nature of the city's new railway station and modernized the old ones, which change the original "flat" and "wait" type of passenger station space layout gradually to the "Dimension" and "pass-through" in order to meet requirements of efficiency that the rail passenger transportation called for.As a main part of a Railway Station, square space is not just a transition between passenger station and the cities, but also plays an important role in organizing the transportation. It can organize both the passengers and the various types of vehicles reasonably so as to achieve transporting between rail and a variety of other modes. It also provides travelers with a relaxing place to wait. What's more, while introducing leisure-oriented urban open space, it can be opened to the citizens. From the current situation, there are some problems in the use of passenger stations on the square space. As a result, we need to conduct research on square usage to optimize it, so that the square can be effectively used.Integration of architecture and city is the trend of urban development today. As the city's comprehensive transport hub, railway stations are particularly affected. In the integration of railway station and the city, the square size will gradually decrease and finally disappear. But in this long way, railway station square will play an important role, so to study the usage of its space is of a practical significance. It is a forward-looking that discussing on'the effect of square space use to the integration of the station and the city', even in the process of the square disappearing.From the point of user's view, this paper find the advantages and disadvantages of the square by using passenger transport psychology, environmental psychology theory to analyze their use of the square space in the psychological behavior and needs, referring the cases of evaluation from post-evaluation use (POE) theory of space. Based on this, it points out the tragedy to improve the square from three aspects, that is:perfecting square function of the space, improving environment and to improve the square of the integration trend of the city square the three aspects of space usage optimization strategies accordingly.Thus, this paper can suit the change of square space in the trend of integration:not only has the state of nowadays, but also has a forward-looking.
