Research On Environmental Color In Guangzhou Campus

Being one of the most important elements in shaping the campus image, the impact of color on the physiology and psychology of teachers and students should not be underestimated. However, there are many problems in the current environmental color design of Guangzhou campuses, therefore, a well-established design theory that guides the environmental color design of Guangzhou campuses should be set up.Taking campus environmental color as the object of the research, problems that exist in the environmental color design in Guangzhou campus and the need for campus color design are elaborated in this paper. Principles of design of architectural color and external environmental color are analyzed.Environmental color in South Campus, North Campus, East Campus of Sun Yat-sen University and University City Campus, Dongfeng East Road Campus of Guangdong University of Technology is discussed.On the one hand, basic theories of campus environmental color design are sorted out to build sound theoretical basis.On the other hand,environmental color design of Sun Yat-sen University and Guangdong University of Technology is analyzed and general principles and methods of campuses environmental color design are explored to help create more pleasing, elegant and comfortable Guangzhou campuses.
