Cable-stayed bridge is a kind of combination system bridge, it’s modelling is beautifuland magnificent. The structure have great spanning capacity and good stability. Because ofit’s many advantages, cable-stayed bridge has made rapid development in the past50years,to make it became one of the most competitive bridge structure in range of span200m~800m. Single tower cable-stayed bridge with good technical and economic performance, isthe first consider structural form under the conditions of cable-stayed bridge project wasestablished, is extremely competitive in the medium and small span bridge.This paper relies on the Mudanjiang Hongshi Cable-stayed Bridge design of the HeDahighway Xiaogouling to Fusong segment, detailing the overall design and scheme selection,using the finite element method for bridge static analysis and the stability analysis, checkingthe bridge structural strength and stiffness according to the calculation result in design.1、According to the bridge actual topography, geomorphology, hydrology condition,selecting assembly of continuous prestressed concrete T beam, prestressed concretecontinuous box girder bridge, half-through concrete filled steel tubular arch bridge andsingle tower cable-stayed bridge with single cable plane four kinds bridge to take economicand technical comparison and selection. The cable-stayed bridge project have obviouslyadvantage in various factors, this bridge is recommend for the cable-stayed bridge.2、Study of cable-stayed bridge project overall arrangement of control factors, selectedtower, girder, pier general layout scheme, to make overall design parameters and the size ofthe details. The bridge program finally for single tower and single cable plane cable-stayedconcrete bridge, span2x165m cross symmetry layout, single-pole bridge tower, girder ofsingle box five compartment concrete box girder, structural system for pier tower girderconsolidation system. 3、By using finite element method, the structure is divided into the plane frame model,to take static analysis and stability analysis of bridge. Through calculation and analysis, thebridge bearing capacity, crack resistance checking calculation, stress calculation of persistentsituation and transient status, structure stiffness results are fully meet the current bridgespecifications. The lasting condition of normal stress in the main girder is the controllingfactors of design, structure is optimized further and the increase of span should improve thecompressive strength and reduce the weight of main girder.4、According to the first class stability analysis results of the bridge structure, the firstorder buckling mode is mainly tower out-of-plane buckling, the most unfavorable conditionsfor the construction of the longest double cantilever structure. The minimum safety factor is13.971, the structure instability probability is very low.In this paper, the analysis and calculation results can provide a basis for the bridgedesign, also can be similar bridge design reference.
