Traditional hydrology method for river flood forecasting, which does not require extensive river topographic data and complicated numerical calculation program, has been widely used, but its calculation results accuracy is limited. The development of science and technology, especially high-performance computer technology and high-precision digital terrain map, promote the development of river flood routing method based on the hydraulic dynamics. The study of extraction methods of the river and the river cross-section data based on DEM is presented and the terrain data for hydrodynamic river flood routing is obtained. The proposed combination of topography and hydrological analysis methods by setting the virtual boundary conditions are used to eliminate the impact of the regional inflow out of control with hydrological station on the calculated result. In this paper, based on1977,1985,1986,1987,1990flood data, the river flood forecasting model of MIKE11HD model from the Yangjiaping (2) to ZhangjiaShan (2) reaches is established and the1988、1989are selected as verification phase. The results show that in verification phase the correlation of modeling is0.93and the peak pass rate is85.7%. Three kinds of conditions on Yangjiaping(2) to zhangjiashan(2) reaches are simulated, water level process and flow process of different conditions in varies of cross section are presented, as well as the water surface process along the river. The function of modeling hydraulic structures of MIKE11HD simulates the plan of the virtual rectangular cross-section bridge and arch bridge on the Malian River downstream. Following results can be reached:The backwater surface profile is obvious upstream of the modeling bridges, also the backwater surface profile and backwater length changes with the inflow of flood. The results computed by MIKE11HD are consistent with HEC-RAS and a neat summary of the process of model building has been analyzed。...
