Research On The Science And Technology Museum Design Based On The Sight Of Museum Education

With the development of times and the improvement of the science and technology,technologicalproducts emerge one after another.Science and technology museum,which is known as the best carrier tomake people understand the development and achievement of modern technology,has become a buildingtype which attract extensive attention in modern construction field. It is the carrier to popularize scienceand technology; it is the public benefit science education institution which has a main function of displayeducation. It aims at motivating people’s scientific interests and edifying scientific ideas to educatepeople in scientific and technological knowledge. The museum use the permanent and temporaryexhibition, the exhibits which allow people to use and experience by themselves to achieve this goal.So far the construction of the science and technology museum in our country is far from meeting theneed of the public neither in quantity nor inquality. The purpose of the museum is to improve the publicscientific knowledge. However, how to improve effectively? This gives a demand on the designing of themuseum. That is to fulfill the museum’s function maximally and effectively. In the field of architecture inour country, the study on public building has been very mature and the discussion on the venues kind ofarchitecture is quite common. However, the study on the venues kind of architecture from the perspectiveof education is rare. In this paper, a new angle has been put forward. By using the inductive andanalytical methods, the writer try to start from the education concept of the museum to give acomprehensive analysis and interpretation on the design of the science and technology museum by usingplenty of examples. The writer combine the study on the science and technology museum in the field ofarchitecture with the research result about the education concept of the museum and the environmental psychology. Based on this,the writer try to find a new method to design the science and technologymuseum.Starting from the development of science and technology museum, the audience analysis, and theeducation concept of the museum, this paper gives a positive discussion on the constitution mode and theeducation concept of the modern museum. By analysing the architectural design, the interior design, thelandscape design of the museum, this article summarize several basic designing principles about thescience and technology museum which are based on the the education concept of the museum. Hopefullycan these principles be uesd as the pratical and adoptable methods of science and technology museumdesigning.
