The device of power system in coal mine includes of coal mines coal mining, transportation and drainage, and other production processes. The working environment of these production processes are more complex.Once there has an equipment accident, the troubleshooting is more difficult to stop and the transmission cycle to affect the efficiency of the coal mining area, including of the huge economic losses, the lives and safety of miners threatened, and even will lead to some social problems.. Therefore, the monitoring of the mine power system is necessary.The main topic is coal power monitoring system design,which can accomplish four function of coal power monitoring system including of remote communication, remote telemetry, remote control, remote debugging.These function complete the sub-gate of the ground control center of the underground high-voltage switch closing and open, it can improve coal supply system’s security, reliability, timeliness. In this article, the following research and design have been done:1. To design coal power monitoring system,which consists of two parts: the ground control center and underground monitoring. Ground monitoring stations is composed by the ground control computer and ground optical. The ground optical complete the mutual conversion of electrical signals and optical signals, the ground monitoring computer monitoring software is based on the configuration software InTouch. Downhole monitoring station complete the acquisition in the underground high-voltage power distribution equipment,power signal can be transmitted to the groundmonitors the main station, and ground control signal is passed to the task of high voltage electrical installations, underground monitoring is role of the sub-station signal acquisition and transmission hub.2. To adopt the configuration software InTouch as monitoring software of ground control center. It can realize monitoring capabilities about underground power system on the InTouch configuration screen.These monitoring capabilities include of real-time monitoring the power signal, monitoring and controllig the exit status of high voltage electrical installations breaker and protection devices remote inputting, monitoring and alarmming queries about the protection device action value and the operating time.3. Man-machine interface Simatic TP177B PN/DP as a control configuration software has used to be the underground man-machine dialogue platform, and WinCC flexible has been done the staff of the underground scene and visual monitoring platform.4. RS485communication and Ethernet communications-based communication system was designed. RS485communication module based on Free port communication protocol is responsible for underground high-voltage power distribution equipment and downhole monitoring unit communication, Ethernet technology based on TCP/IP and fiber-optic technology is responsible for the ground control center and underground monitoring unit communication.To design and research the coal power monitoring system is in order to achieve the following features:(1) Monitoring data conversion the production process of the coal mine power system information, sorting management personnel on the coal surface and underground variety of electrical equipment that is a comprehensive dynamic analysis and data management;(2) Remote controlling, ground control center staff can monitor and control the operational status of the underground electrical equipment, remote switch cast and modify the parameters of the work;(3) Centrally managing coal mine power supply systems, monitoring a variety of electrical equipment in power monitoring network and providing protection for the normal operation of the coal mine power systems;(4)To reduce the amount of labor of the field maintenance staff and to improve work efficiency.
