Based on the study of the electromagnetic calculation of claw pole alternator for electric vehicle, this dissertation is committed to the study on the electromagnetic calculation of the permanent magnet synchronous motor (PMSM).3D finite element analysis method is used to the project of the electromagnetic calculation of claw pole alternator for electric vehicle to analyze the no-load and full-load magnetic circuit characteristics. Magnetic field, flux(?) leakage coefficient and other factors which affect the efficiency are studied particularly. The project laid the theoretical and practical basis for the dissertation, and protected the successful completion.The finite element electromagnetic field simulation software ANSOFT is used to calculate the no-load and full-load magnetic circuit the air gap flux density harmonic content、the important electromagnetic parametes、torque、loss of output power、efficiency and so on. On this basis, changing the width of the permanent magnet、winding turns per phase and air gap length to analyze the impact on permanent magnet synchronous motor electromagnetic characteristics.Firstly, the simple model of three-phase motor is established to explain the calculation principle of the key parameters of PMSM. The mathematical model of PMSM is established to describe the impact of key parameters on motor performance and optimization.Based on the technical indicators and experience value of the PMSM for electric vehicle, select the electromagnetic design parameters, identify the type of winding、groove of the stator, rotor structure、the size of the permanent magnet and magnetic materials primly Which are verified by the calculation method of magnetic circuit. Calculate repeatedly to determine the initial scheme. The procedure of the electromagnetic project is described in fourth chapter, the temperature rise is estimated at the same time. Then check it by ANSOFT, and achieve a reasonable design scheme and simulation analysis data eventually.The impact of parameters on the performance of PMSM in the case of changing one parameter and remaining others is analyzed in the sixth chapter. Which provide a theoretical basis for optimization of the PMSM. There are many parameters in PMSM, several ones are studied due to the limited space in this article. Research in this area needs to be further deepened.
