Study On The Impacts Of The Railway Line For Passenger Traffic On Regional Economic Development

Railway is a nation’s important infrastructure. It carries systematic key member as our country integrated traffic. With the progress of science and technology and the improvement of productivity, the high speed railway has injected a flow of fresh vitality into the railroad industry, and unclosed a new page of accelerating its development. New passenger dedicated line network is the main direction of medium and long-term network planning of our country.In the situation of the area have been expanded and regional economic have been developed, on the one hand, aging transportation facilities and its Small-scale low density becoming the bottleneck that economy of one region grows, on the other hand, Regional economic development needs more advanced transport infrastructure. However, passenger dedicated line with its unique advantages could alleviate the contradiction and promote region economy development.Therefore, study on the impacts of the railway line for passenger traffic on regional economic development has practical significance.Based on this background, this paper studies on the impacts of the railway line for passenger traffic on regional economic development and concrete examples of the system simulation, then get some conclusion.First, through the qualitative research of region economy development theories and the related theories of high speed railway and regional economic development, analysis on the current regional economic development model, this paper elaborates the impacts of the railway line for passenger traffic on regional economic development in for aspects:the development of the city, the development of industry, the improvement of accessibility and the improvement of the overall transport network.Second, according to the above-mentioned influence, I determine the main line of system and establish the system of passenger dedicated line and the region economy. At the same time, I identified characteristics of the system and the function types, machine-processed, and function characteristics of passenger dedicated line on the regional economic development. And in the role of the commodity, based on the passenger, through the service utility of the PDL and the regional accessibility, put an analysis one the substantive purpose of PDL on the regional economic development.Third, on the basis of the above analysis, through the quantitative analysis of relevant factor, the results support the argument and do the preparation for the further research.Fourth, based on the theory of system dynamics, the modeling thoughts of passenger dedicated line-the area economic system is established.Last, according to the above analysis and research, the calculation model of system dynamics of passenger dedicated line-the area economic system is established. In Xi’an city as an example, do the simulation of the economic development of Xi’an and give the relevant conclusions and puts forward relevant suggestions.
