Level mechanism is widely used in many types of aerial work platforms. It plays an important role in work stability and staff security, as a key ingredient of aerial work platform. The hydrostatic level mechanism is a sort of common mechanism in aerial work platform. How to estimating levelling error and common rules of point disposal accurately is always in this area, so it has profound meaning to design and analyze the hydrostatic level mechanism. Therefore,based on different kinds of hydrostatic level mechanisms, researching the general rules of point disposal and thorough analyzing levelling error are very significant to improve aerial work platform performance.This thesis is directed to the hydrostatic level mechanism. It not only does a thorough research on point disposal of similar triangle and arbitrary triangle hydrostatic level mechanism, but also provides a comprehensive analysis of the levelling error. The thesis does a study on error compensation, based on the structural levelling error and hydraulic levelling error. The major research is as follows:In this paper, it does a study on point disposal of similar triangle hydrostatic level mechanism. According to mechanismic characteristic, similar triangle hydrostatic level mechanism model is built and rules of point disposal are estimated. Taking the levelling error and force of the cylinders as the optimization goals, the paper establishes multiobjective optimization model. The optimization results greatly improve level performance of the level mechanism.This thesis does a study on point disposal of arbitrary triangle hydrostatic level mechanism, the model of which is built according to mechanismic characteristic. The match design for the square of the diameter ratios and the point location by lagrange interpolation method is presented to abtain the the square of the diameter ratios which meets the design requirements.In this paper, it makes a deep research on hydraulic level error of arbitrary triangle hydrostatic level mechanism, the mathematical model of which is presented according to the level principle. The model of effective fluid bulk modulus is presented in the paper. The level cylinders and the hydraulic pipes match design are achieved. Through researching, select proper components to obtain hydraulic level error. The compensation design of structural level error and hydraulic level error comes true by changing the diameter ratio of the slave cylinder and the hydraulic pipe.
