| Port is the hub of transportation, and the intersection of the railway, highway, water, and other mode of transportation. Generally, it consists of the waters, pier and land. The construction of port takes a long time, costs too much, and has many related subjects. In additional, the port planning and designing are closely related to the economics development of countries and regions. This paper presents the feasibility study on development scheme of beiliang universal wharf for food and logistics. First, the current status of the port is analyzed according to the kinds of goods, collection and distribution requirements, quantitative prediction of the throughput of the port; the project on this study includes two50,000-ton universal berth, hydraulic structure reserved10,000-ton DWT by the combination with the ship development trend. Furthermore, two optimized proposals are performed on the basis of planning which has determined the approximate location of land and water, and by the combination with the natural condition of proposed region, the convergence of bulk changed to container projection in beiliang, road transport condition, yard and the layout of basin water, and so on. After that, the final optimized plan of the general layout and pier structures is determined by the analysis of the main pier structure, the characteristics of own maintenance and bedrock distribution, the consideration of the wide caisson and narrow caisson plan, and,the finally economical comparison and, comprehensive analysis. |
