In rencent years,Self-anchored suspension bridge have been favored by most of bridge engineers,owing to its esthetic and sample appearance,strong ability to adapt to the terrain and favorable economical performance, compared to the same span other type of bridge. However,the force behavior of its structural system shows a stronger non-linear than tradional suspension bridge, which requires a more precise calculation of the reasonable finished dead state and the construction process to meet the design requirements.By means of finite element program MIDAS/CIVIL, this paper study on the reasonable finished dead state and the sling tension process, the work done and the results are as follows:(1) This paper briefly introduces the development of self-anchored suspension bridge, the structural form, the mechanical characteristics as well as domestic and international research status of static caculation and optimization of hanger tension.(2) The development of self-anchored suspension bridge caculation theory, nonlinear influencing factors,setting up and solving the finite element equation are elaborated in this paper.(3) A multi-step analysis process is established to determine the reasonable finished dead state. Firstly,the stiffening girder finite element model is taked as the object of an independent study. The level of main cable and the initial sling force was imposed on the model above, which was calculated with the help of the least dending strain energy method and the analytical method.Secondly, according to near influence of the hanger force,the Each of hanger force value can be adjusted to the average. Finally,in the spatial finite element model of the full-bridge, by means of internal force balance method,the hanger force is optimized until The internal forces of the stiffening girder is to meet the requirements of the feasible region.(4) The multi-step analysis method for solving the reasonable finished dead state are applied in a actual project.(5) The analysis methods of self-anchored suspension bridge construction process are briefly described in this paper,and the author make use of demolition method to simulate the entire construction process, and apply unstressed length control to study the hanger tension process of Harbin Fashengqu self-anchored suspension.
