The Reserch Of Thematic Design For Dining Space

This paper mainly studies the issues arising from the current dining space design. This study is based on art design theory with combination of researches on the dining space design cases. Making research on the theme to the dining space design, its current trends and design development in our country, it come to a program that can make up for the inadequacies of the design theme of the design direction and principles. It tries to provide the theoretical and practical basis to the development of our dining space theme design.This discussion is divided into six chapters. The first chapter is introduction, which mainly discusses the research content and signification and personal view to the dining room design. The Second chapter deals with the theme of the dining room features, definitions and properties, and the current development status of the dining room design to illustrate the need to study this issue. The third chapter mainly makes analysis on the theme design of the dining room to reveal the current design issue. Making analysis on the cause for the issue, we draw a perfect theme design for the general direction. Chapter IV and V is the focus of the article which is based on consumer psychology and related theories of art design. It makes analysis design on the subject of excessive pursuit of strange, lacks of extend in meaning and less prominent on theme. It mainly discusses the theme extraction and how to show it in the space to meet the consumers’spiritual and cultural needs of the subject. Then it sums up the dining room design direction and principles. The last chapter guides the direction and principles for the dining room design which is derived from the design direction and principle source of the theme to prove its importance.
