The auto industry have to protect entironment and save energy immediately because the world is short of petroleum and the environment is contaminative while the ecnomic and the auto industry develop so rapidly. The hybrid vehicle has got the point for reducing the consumption of petroleum and emission of pollutants,so people pay attention to the hybrid vehicles right now. But it is important to evaluation the life of consumption and emission which can display the characteristics of the hybrid vehicle from different point of view.In order to explore the huge energy potential, this thesis has not only studied theEnergy-saving on the engine re-manufacture technology but also the cost by using the relationship between re-manufacture and the economic cycle as the breakthrough point. First, this thesis introduces the engine re-manufacture processes and high-tech, on the basis of large amounts of interrelated data , then use the Life-cycle Assess Theories and methods (WTT)to establish the mathematical evaluation model between the differences in energy consumption and environmental impact about the engine re-manufacture and new machine-made,and ues the life cycle costs Theories and methods to establish another mathematical evaluation model, Finally, take the 615.67 Steyr engine re-manufacture as an instance, put the datas into the models, use matlab software to program to calculate the results of the evaluation and analyse, reach the conclusion that engine re-manufacture has enormous energy-saving potential and good social and economic benefits ,and it is helpful to achieve our goals of Sustainable development and harmonious society building.
