In the complex environment of modern war, it requires the fuze can deal with multipleobjectives in order to improve the kill probability of projectile on the target. Themulti-functional fuze has several different damage ways concurrently, it can start the differentmutilate way according to the requirements of different missiles so as to achieve the besteffect, so it can adapt to the battlefield environment with missile types are increasing. Thispaper discussed the setter technology of multi-functional fuze, designed a setter instrument offuze to complete three different modes of setting–time fuze, proximity fuze and impact fuze,it can select different work patterns through setting different information to fuze, so it hasimportant military application.This article aimed at the research of multi-functional fuze setter technique mainly. First,established the system model of multi-functional fuze, put forward the scheme thatcompleting the design of multi-functional fuze setter instrument and receivers as the core ofSTC89C52RC and C8051F330 respectively. The operator can use setter instrument to setwork modes, it realized communications between setter instrument and receivers byhandshaking signals of RS-232, fuze confirmed the work mode by reading receivedinformation in the memory; secondly, designed reasonable hardware circuit of setterinstrument and receivers as the core of STC89C52RC and C8051F330 respectively accordingto the requirements of the subject; finally, designed software program with C language,including keyboard program, 12864 LCD procedures and information sending of setterinstrument, information receiving, storage and feedback process of receivers.Through the testing and commissioning, it shows that this setter instrument can realizethe setting of three different work modes for fuze and the receivers can receive the settinginformation from setter instrument correctly. So it meets the design requirements and thescheme designed is feasible.
