The average temperature underground is relatively low in cold regions and it will be lower after a long heating period. Though recovering during the spring, it can’t be fully restored to the initial state before the start of air conditioning period, the max temperature will not exceed12℃and excess cooling capacity will be stored. This temperature is very close to the average temperature of chilled water for air conditioning. In this topic, we will study the feasibility of using excess underground cooling capacity under this precondition. The heat pump unit will stop running in early air conditioning period, and the heat storage will be used for building refrigeration, this technology is called utilize of excess cooling capacity. A radiant floor cooling system will be made by leading cold water into the radiant floor system.The end of air conditioning system shares a system with the radiant floor heating system, the cooling water will go through the radiant floor, then, a radiant floor cooling system formed. In this paper, the system without heat pump units will be called the Energy Storage System Based on Ground Heat Exchanger. The Energy Storage Systern will be divided into two parts, the underground part and the aboveground part.First, we create a numerical model of the underground part, then, we analyze the change of underground temperature field during a work cycle and its recovery by comparing with the initial state.Second, we create a numerical model of the aboveground part, then, we use the control variate method to find out how would the four factors mentioned above influent the indoor thermal environment, at last, the major influential factors will be confirmed.Finally, the numerical models will be used to study the operating characteristics of radiant floor cooling system, we will mainly discuss how may the water supply temperature、the water flow rate、the envelope wall temperature and the embedded depth of radiation coil influent the thermal environment of indoor air. The results show that:The recovery rate of underground temperature field can reach99.7%before the start of next heating period by using the excess cooling capacity underground. We can effectively reduce the loss of cooling capacity and obtain better thermal environment by using the radiant cooling way. It will be an important guiding significance for promoting the multiplexed system which composed of Ground Source Heat Pump and Radiant Floor.
