Hydraulic piston concrete pump is construction equipment to make hydraulic oil’shydraulic energy into the concrete flow’s mechanical energy. It can accomplishcontinuously the site concrete’s horizontal and vertical pumping. Among theconveying concrete equipment, combining with the mixing station and transporter, itnot only improves the utilization rate of concrete, also saves time. To study thepumping mechanism of hydraulic piston concrete pump, it has guiding significance forthe development of concrete pump in our country.Performance of pumping mechanism is good or bad directly affects the concreteflow’s pumping distance. This paper introduces three basic rheology components andmodels, choosing the Bingham body model to simulate the flow of concrete flow in thepipeline. According to hydraulic system pressure to calculate the concrete pump’srated pump pressure, it use S.Morinaga classic formula to calculate concrete flow’spressure loss in the process of flow in straight and conical tube. In certain conditionsto simplify these formula, it preliminary calculates the biggest level pumpingdistanceand the highest vertical pumping distance of concrete pump. With concrete pump’s design parameters, it uses ANSYS finite element softwareto make static strength analysis for piston rod, the hydraulic oil cylinder and concretecylinder. In the state of high pressure pumping, from the simulation resulting graph, itfinds out the biggest deformation position and largest stress position among the three,to make sure the strain stress in dangerous areas within the scope of the materialslicense. With ADAMS software dynamics, it analysis the movement of pumpinginstitutions, study the displacement, the speed and acceleration change of the concretepump’s piston rod in the process of high pressure and low pressure pumpingrespectively, getting the flow stability in the hydraulic system. The piston rod ismoving to concrete cylinder’s discharging port, it begins to prepare for the reversingbuffer. ADAMS software dynamic simulates the piston rod’s force in the process ofcushioning, with a bigger resistance in high pressure than in low. Dynamics simulationresults are obtained in the state of dynamic, it really reflects the mutual relationshipbetween the piston rod, the main hydraulic oil cylinder, concrete cylinder and the flowconcrete.
