The Protection And Heritage Of Huizhou Residential Street Space In Ming And Qing Dynasties

The region of Huizhou is a unique area where is well-known of its construction and civilization. There is great value of economics, civilizations and religions in this area, which means that it is worth learning this region in details. This paper is based on the high development of the civilization from Ming Dynasty to Qing Dynasty. According to the structure of streets and roads which are closely related to peoples’daily life, there is hidden value of the structure. Meanwhile, there are suggestions of protecting as well as carrying on the great value of construction in Huizhou. In addition, these suggestions could also be the connections between different areas which are useful foundations for the developing constructions all over the world.In this paper, it can be divided into two parts:First, according to the principles and methods of space design and the analysis of mapping, data, graphic and text, a definition of the structure of streets and roads is given. Second, compare to other streets and roads in and out of our country, there is a unique structure of these streets and roads based on its local civilization in Huizhou. Furthermore, this structure is not only a respect for local developments and civilization but also providing elements to related streets and roads building in Huizhou.
