With the energy and environmental problem becoming more and more serious, energy conservations and environmental protection have become an important issue in today’s world. Electric vehicles as green energy vehicles have been developed rapidly. With the development of electric vehicles, Lithium-ion battery as one of preferred power energy of electric vehicles has been widely used. For studying application technology of lithium-ion battery in depth, battery test equipment is essential. Domestic battery testing technology is started later, and the development is also slower, the domestic and foreign technology has the very big disparity. Domestic large power battery test equipment is heavily dependent on imports. This phenomenon is not conducive to the development of battery testing technology of our country.Therefore, according to the test lithium-ion battery needs, the30kW battery test equipment is designed in this paper. The system is built in this paper which is composed of a three-phase PWM rectifier and a dual bi-directional full-bridge DC/DC converter. Main circuit parameters are calculated and their control systems are designed. And, the complete simulation models are achieved for three-phase PWM rectifier and dual bi-directional full-bridge DC/DC converter, which can accurately reflect the characteristics of control systems. Ccontrol system hardware circuits for three-phase PWM rectifier and dual bi-directional full-bridge DC/DC converter are designed base on DSP56F803in this paper, and writing the program of DSP for the bi-directional DC/DC converter. We completed a prototype of test equipment and many experiments for the prototype of test equipment. In the case of25kW charging, the efficiency of prototype is84.4%, its power factor is0.99and its THD is3.8%, and we have realized the rapid conversion between the charging and discharging, testifying the feasibility of the whole system designs.
