In order to adapt the current situation of rapid economic development and increasing demand for freight transport of our country, heavy loading becomes the development trends of railway freight car. To improve the axle load is the most effective way to develop railway freight transport. Currently, the heaviest axle load of railway freight car of China in using is the25t axle load.27t axle load railway freight car is going to be put into use and has urgent need for the test data to analysis the strength and reliability of the bogie. This article is based on the test data of27t axle load railway freight car, and do some study on the following aspects:1. Processing the test data and get the stress-time history data of the key points of27t axle load freight car bogie. Then making stress spectrum to analysis the fatigue strength of key points.2. Doing finite element analysis for the bolster and side frame to determine the fatigue dangerous parts of the bolster and the affect of every load to side frame.3. Through the load identification, get the fatigue load of the bolster and side frame. Make the load spectrum.4. According to the S-N curve and miner linear accumulated fatigue damage theory, use two methods to analysis the fatigue damage and life of the bolster fatigue dangerous parts. Compare the two methods according to the results.
