Nowadays, the total tonnage of railway freight car is as many as5,000tons and10,000tons, even up to20,000tons in Datong-Qinhuangdao line in our nation. The fatigue failure problems in wagon body are increasingly prominent and might be a threat to the safety of vehicle operation as the operating speed of the vehicle is getting higher and the loadage is getting bigger. Some fatigue analysis on wagon body are urgently needed to ensure the safety of vehicle operation. Meanwhile, the train will be affected obviously by the small curve, switch, speed, etc., therefore the fatigue analysis based on measured data is of great necessity.In this dissertation, dynamic stress of coupler force and key parts of the body in the new type U80H cement tank car are tracking tested, based on adaptive test on the27t axle load truck (mixed) in Gupeitang-Xinkaipu line. Load/stress time history data is analyzed in which the level eight one-dimensional spectrum and two-dimensional spectrum generation are generated, and equivalent load/stress is calculated. The stress spectrum of wagon body and longitudinal spectrum of coupler force are compiled under different working conditions. At the same time, fatigue damage of the wagon body is calculated, the correlation between coupler force and the stress of tank body is summarized, and the effect of coupler force on the stress measurement of the vehicle is analyzed by the ways of Finite Element Method. In the latter part of the dissertation, the fatigue reliability of U80H cement tank car body is analyzed, and the fatigue life prediction is made based on measured stress.
