Electric power steering system (Electric Power Steering System,referred to as EPS) with ordinary power steering system has the advantages ofhis, EPS is a power steering technology development trend of a representative.Based on the study of solar electric vehicle projects as the basis, for automotiveelectric power steering system control core, electronic control unit for furtherresearch, the domestic electric power steering system the actual developmentwork has a certain significance.The first part gives a brief introduction of electric power steering systemresearch status at home and abroad, on the basic principle of EPS were a littleunderstanding. On the Chinese now studied some key research institute andthe university to do a detailed list. On this basis, the PID control algorithm aswell as the steering wheel step experiments are a deeper understanding andresearch, the traditional PID control algorithm and fuzzy PID control algorithmfor certain contrast analysis. In the hardware design, the overall design strategy,on this basis, the system module is analyzed and compared, and made for themodules of the system. In the design of the robust performance of system isdiscussed, and the electric power steering system steering characteristics wereanalyzed, and put forward suitable for electric vehicle using the power controlstrategy.
