Along with the paper demand increasing, it greatly promotes the progress ofpapermaking technology, and paper-making machine develops to large-scale,automated and high-speed, but the ability to solve high-speed paper machinelubrication problems has gradually become a key to limit its development, whichwas reflected on that the lubrication system was complex, and amount of oil, andthe oil bank was large, and high quality of lube oil, even pollute environment andhiger security risk. Nowadays in the fields of metallurgy, petroleum chemicalindustry, heavy equipment and others have abandoned the traditional method ofoil lubrication, and the oil-air lubrication technology is used because of its highefficiency, environmental protection, and oil film bearing capacity, automatedmanagement, and improvement of product quality, safety and environmentalprotection. The results proved it obtains very good results in the actualapplication. At present, oil-air lubrication technique has not been applied on thepaper industry, thus it is of great significance to enhance the study of oil-airlubrication technology and promote its application in paper-making industry. This paper revolves the oil-air lubrication technique feasibility, economicvalue and range of applications for the bearing of high speed paper machinedrying section as the study, and expands the application of technique. The mainresearch work can be summarized as follows:1) By the lubrication theory, the bearing of high speed paper machinedrying section was analysis and research, the establishment of a mathematicalmodel about temperature field, and the theoretical solution of the mathematicalmodel and process was identified.2) According to the brief analysis of the lubrication mechanism of oil andgas two-phase flow, bearing internal heat flows had been comparative studiedbasing on the mechanism of the oil lubrication and oil-air lubrication. And theessential difference was obtained between the single-phase flow lubrication of oiland gas two-phase flow lubrication with the oil lubrication. 3) Fluent as a finite element fluid analysis software was using fornumerical simulation of oil-air two-phase flow analysis. the two-dimensionalsimulation model was setted and analysis the impact of oil-air lubucationparameters. With the best results of lubrication, the parameters of reasonableevaluation standards was establishing, and the objection were explored therelationships of parameters, analysis two-phase flow simulation of fluid formsand judged standard of correctness.4) By simplified on the same type of CRAB bearing and using fluid analysissoftware, differences under the bearing internal temperature field have beenresearched between the oil lubrication and oil-air lubrication, to make sure ofinitially identified advantages in the oil-air lubrication compared with the oil andthe initial parameters were optimization.5) Based on the actual working parameters of the paper machine dryingsection, the high-speed paper machine drying section is equipped with an oil-airlubrication system, and the entire system process is designed, as well as thestructural design of the system key parts including the structural design of themain station, and the structural of the satellite station, and the structural of oiland air out of the lubrication points, oil and air separation equipment design. Atthe same time this system process flow diagrams and simple control mode ofcontrol monitoring and testing are proposed.6) According to the actual condition of the paper machine, paper machinedrying section was lubrication by oil-air lubrication system and which wascomparative analysis of economic to oil lubrication, verify that the economicviability of oil-air lubrication system.
