With the lower prices and continuously upgrade the quality of PV modules, BIPV will play a greater role in the city distributed power supply gradually from new energy policy to encourage and distributed power technology matures. At this stage, although the efficiency of photovoltaic systems have a more marked improvement, but it is still relatively low and have a higher cost compared with traditional energy sources. PV requires the highest possible efficiency. But in order to pursue the high efficiency of the module, energy output efficiency of a unit area will be reduced. That is difficult to be balanced. In order to reduce the actual construction volume, the angle of inclination and azimuth of the PV array is designed by the roof, without a consistent practice, failed to take the actual observation and simulation design, just as much as possible of the installed capacity. Slant on the roof of such practices, but in the horizontal roof maybe neither get the highest module efficiency nor obtain the maximum unit output efficiency, which spent a lot of money and equipments to cause a considerable degree of waste. Thus, the main problems in the BIPV components contain three parts. First, the characteristic of PV module, which is described by the full parameters model, that means the relatitionship between the current and voltage in different radiation and temperature can be solved. The match of the invter and array can be ensured and the preliminary systems planning. Second, the optical array installation and installation spacing are researched in ordre to obtain the most radiation.Third, the photovoltaic system planning of the campus project is designed. This paper is based on the photovoltaic demonstration on campus. Characteristics and parameters of the PV modules and the match between array and inverter were researched. The optimum tilt angle was calculated at different latitudes and different radiation ratio. Finally, according to the PV-specific simulation software PV SYST, the relationship between angle of inclination, cost and income was calculated. The problems of PV demonstration campus project processing have been pointed out. The best installation combinations were calculated by the construction drawings and PV plans were designed for the other buildings of NCUT. Besides, PV project design reports were given for each building, which can give a good preparation for the next step of photovoltaic demonstration on campus.
