Abstract/Summary:
With the rapid growth of China’s wind power installed capacity, large-scale wind power accommodated issue becomes more and more serious. Traditional wind power program is based on the accommodated capacity of the system under the most severe conditions at a moment. This method couldn’t get the total electric quantity then it couldn’t evaluate the total effect. As the current main wind program targets are utilization hours, abandoned hours and etc, this article focuses on the wind power accommodated capability of power grid. Starting with the requirement of wind power and safe utilization of electricity, it assesses the wind power accommodated capability of power grid by the peaking capability of units.Combined with the international wind power program ideas, we simulate the actual power grid to get the limit of the wind power integration by PowerFactory. The best combination of units will be obtained by units program model. With the unit combination, the minimal technical output could be obtained and the accommodated power sequence could be calculated. Combined with the wind farm output sequence, the amount of electricity could be calculated by the integration of accomodated wind power sequence on the time interval. To sum up, there are two processes to be calculated, which are system unit operation plans and calculation of quantity of electricity. Considering the engineering usage and the complexity of mathematical model, we deal with the two processes seperately to get the target of the wind power program project.Besides, this article studies the impact of the pumped storage power station and inter-regional tie line on the system on the capability of wind power accomodation. Building a model of pumped storage power station, this article customizes the output sequence of units by equivalent energy function method. By sending the excess wind power to another region to improve the wind power accommodated capability, this article studies the scenario of constant power of tie line. The load curve could be adjusted by treating the night and day delivery capacity differently. With new timing load curve, we recalculate the amount of accomodated wind power of power grid.According to above solutions, this article has developped an analysis and simulation platform on wind power accomodated capability of power grid based on Delphi. The whole structure of this platform is based on C/S model. The computing tasks are mainly on the terminals and the server is the manager of the client information. In order to prepare for the future development, the platform has reserved some interfaces. This platform is verified to be efficient by the real projects and could be useful for wind power program.
