As an important and fundamental component in water pressure transmission and control system, water pressure pump is widely used in water pressure system for the reason of good sealing property and simple structure. However, The problem of leakage in the water pressure pump affect its applications severely. As the development of water pressure technology, it’s proposed more accurate requirements for the sealing element of water pressure pump. Therefore, the seal ability property of the sealing element of water pressure pump is concerned broadly in the field of engineering and industry.In this paper, the major work is using ANSYS and FLUENT software to modeling and simulating folw field in the sealing element of water pressure, The main point is to research the reason that causes leakage of sealing element of water pressure and how to decrease leakage, And also leakage under different mechanical face seal structures is included in the simulation, from the perspective of visualization, the location and intensity of leakage with different structures are analyzed.This thesis consists of three parts:(1) Designing the quad mesh model of simplification poppet O-ring to be parameter in ANSYS and FLUENT, utilizing ANSYS to make static simulation. The hydraulic pressure and material of O-ring on the O-ring’s static properties are analyzed primarily, The structural optimization is conducted for the O-ring, the effect of different structural parameters on O-ring seal ability property is researched, It’s found that except for hydraulic pressure and material of O-ring, Roughness may also causes O-ring leakage, the static simulation result shows the validation of research for leakage element.(1) The influence of surface roughness of the objects to be sealed on the hydraulic o-ring’s sealing and static property was analyzed with ANSYS and FLUENT. The requirement of hydraulic o-ring’s minimum contacting width was obtained, which provided the basis of the hydraulic o-ring’s design to some extent.(3) Static simulation analysis the mechanical seal property of water pressure pump based on ANSYS was carried out, the seal face, spring pressure, hydraulic pressure and material of primary ring on the mechanical face seal’s static properties are analyzed primarily. Through the analysis show that the deformation of the primary ring has great effect on seal ability property of mechanical face seal. Based on the detailed calculation of the mechanical seal property, The structural optimization is conducted for the mechanical seal, Improve the mechanical seal property of water pressure pump. Analysis the mechanical seal property of water pressure pump based on ANSYS and FLUENT was carried out, trying to analysis the seal property of sealing element of water pressure from the perspective of overall situation. the static simulation result shows the validation of research for Analysis the mechanical seal property.
