In the construction of Dalian air industrial park land reclamation, it has vital significance to research the overall and differential settlement of deep soft clay foundation, especially in the pre-feasibility studies and construction design phase. The accurate, scientific and reasonable settlement prediction has important guiding value to the pre-construction, airport operations and post-maintenance. The drum centrifuge and beam centrifuge are jointly used to simulate a long-term settlement of deep soft clay foundation and explore its settlement law. Combining with the centrifugal simulation data, the settlement prediction of soft clay foundation is done in this thesis.Through the exposition and theoretical analysis of centrifugal modeling technology, it shows that the centrifugal model experiment is a practical way to predict foundation settlement.Based on the test route, it explores the consolidation test means of soft clay and researches the effectiveness of the vacuum consolidation. At the same time, the soil sample is prepared by using the large-scale centrifugal oedometer.Combined with practical engineering characteristics of the offshore airport, it presents a simplified centrifugal model experiment and first joints drum and beam centrifuge in the country to effectively emulate the long-term settlement of the deep soft clay foundation in this essay. Meanwhile, it carries on the system and further research of the settlement under the influence of backfilling rate of reclamation artificial island, flexible loading amplitude, the foundation thickness and soil strength.In the analysis of experimental results, it first combined soil compression test results to get the final settlement by means of calibrating the key settlement calculation parameters from the e-lgp curve. In the meantime, the theoretical values of time-settlement and pore water pressure are derived through one-dimensional consolidation theory. Then it is further compared with the centrifuge modeling experimental value. In the subsidence prediction, the experimental data are processed through the logarithmic and hyperbolic data processing methods to project the foundation post-settlement, which provides a reliable technical reference for the actual construction of the project.
