Micro-unmanned vehicle is a miniature intelligent vehicle platformwhich is small size, light weight and has a transit capacity. The staff wasreplaced to complete the work when the environment demands specialconditions such as the environment don’t allow the staff to enter or thelarge equipment can’t be passed. The core of the micro-unmanned vehicle is vehicle operation controlsystem. The part of the host computer can be an autopilot system or aremote driving system that responsible for commanding the vehicleroutes. Lower machine part is in charge of receiving the data which sentby the host computer and control the implementation of the componentsto complete the driving action. The purpose of the project is based on existing technology to exploita common micro-unmanned vehicle platform that has great value andcould be used in civilian fields. The platform takes into account cost, easeof use, exploitability, and it is not only a value product, but also providesa common development platform for developers in various areas. Thefocal point is devising a complete set of vehicle operation control systemwhich includes two parts of the upper and lower machine. The host computer test and test procedures were using LabVIEW toexploit throughout the development process. A remote monitoring testwas designed after the platform structures finished. The platformequipped with smart antenna array and high-definition CCD camerawhich support by the electric PTZ. It through a wireless network totransmits the image to the monitor side. The operator inspected thevehicle operating status and controls of the vehicle platform to move. Itfurther proves the entire platform can be developed, versatility andstability.A certain number tests were complete when the platform hardwarestructures had been basically finished. The initial design goals wereachieved because of the general miniature unmanned vehicle platformcould work stability.
