| With step by step realization of developmental stratagem of "Transmission electric power from West to East and exchange electric power between South and North, interconnection in the whole country", the interconnection of large regional power grids increases the economy of power system operation while making the structure of grid and operating environment complicated, and thus the protection and control of power system have to be proposed higher requirements. For the traditional relay protection and security automatic control cannot meet the requirements of these new circumstances, wide-area protection and control system (WPCS) becomes the research focus. This paper is committed to the research of dynamic testing for wide-area protection and control based on general protection and control platform.The paper presents the design of general protection and control platform, expounds the functionality and implementation of the basic components of the testing system, and emphatically discusses the functional requirements and implementation methods of wide-area protection and control system and time synchronization system. In order to reduce the development costs and simplify the connection lines between devices, while meeting the requirements of the development of digital substation protection system for digital testing, the paper discusses the implementation methods of the transmission of digital sample values following IEC61850transfer protocol in detail.Three basic structures of WPCS have been analyzed in the paper, and by comparison, the centralized structure is chosen to apply in the subject of wide-area backup protection system. The paper discusses specific algorithm of the master-station of wide-area backup protection system; designs the configuration of local protection of sub-station, and presents basic principles and implementations of the local protection components in detail; discusses the coordination between master-station and sub-station in the start, troubleshooting, and reversion; and codes the program modules according to the design of protection schemes and the discussed implementation methods. Besides, the paper analyses the universal test system requirements for software, and introduces the features of modular programming and designs of the interface functions during realizing the system.Building simulative power system based on the real data of Guizhou Power Grid, configuring corresponding programs and acquisition module in the simulation software, the action logic of master-station has been tested, furthermore, the performance of local protection configured in sub-station has been tested based on transmission of digital sample values. On the basis of the testing result, the programs of master-station and sub-station can meet the requirements. Finally after concluding remarks, the paper proposes the follow-up prospects. |
